I've been keeping up with a website that I put on this site a while back (in January under the title Harry Lamin's War). It's the letters home of British soldier Harry Lamin. He was in Italy in 1918 and the website owner (his grandson) is putting his letters home on the site on the date they were written. His last letter is 4 November 1918, one day after the Austrian armistice. So unless they send him to France for the last week or something stupid happens (like an accident) Harry survived the war.
